Vusion ESL Integration
Connect your Vusion electronic shelf labels to FastQuery and your team can make any product’s label blink from the mobile app — the fastest way to find an item on a crowded shelf or walk a customer straight to it.
The integration is one-way and focused on finding products: FastQuery sends find-and-flash commands to the ESL system, never price changes. Price updates continue to flow through your existing Vusion setup.
What You Get
Section titled “What You Get”- Flash a label — from a product’s detail screen in the mobile app, tap Flash Label and the matching shelf label blinks blue for about 30 seconds.
- Auto-flash while counting — counting and picking screens have a lightbulb toggle; when it’s on, the label for the item at the top of your screen flashes automatically as you scroll through the list.
Setting It Up
Section titled “Setting It Up”You’ll need two API keys, created by your Vusion Account Manager — contact support.na@vusion.com to request them:
- a V:Cloud API key
- an Optipick API key
Once created, both keys appear in your Vusion API Portal profile.
Then, in FastQuery:
- Go to the Integrations page and open Vusion ESL.
- Enter both API keys. FastQuery verifies the V:Cloud key right away and lists the stores in your Vusion account.
- Match each Vusion store to one of your locations.
The Flash Label button appears in the mobile app for every mapped location.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- “No label found” when flashing — that product’s SKU has no ESL assigned in Vusion for this store. Assign a label in Vusion first.
- Flash stops working everywhere — the Optipick key may have been revoked or rotated. Re-enter the keys on the integration page.
- A store is missing from the mapping list — check that it exists in your Vusion account under the same subscription the API keys belong to.
