Camera Features

Your phone’s camera does more than scan barcodes. Use it to identify products, document shelf conditions, and add photos to tasks.

Not sure what a product is? Snap a photo and let the AI figure it out.

There are two ways to take photos in Chat:

  • Quick mode — Long-press the camera button to take a single photo instantly. Great when you just need one quick shot.
  • Persistent mode — Tap the camera button to keep the camera open. Take multiple photos before sending. Useful when you want to capture different angles or multiple products.

Once you’ve taken a photo, the AI will analyze it and you can ask follow-up questions like:

  • “What is this product?”
  • “Do we carry this?”
  • “How much does this cost?”

When adding a new product to your system, the camera helps capture the details:

  1. Take a photo of the product front so customers and team members can recognize it
  2. Take a photo of the product label to capture specifications and details

These photos become part of the product record in your inventory.

Photos add helpful context to tasks. Use the camera to document:

  • Shelf conditions — Show what needs restocking or reorganizing
  • Damaged products — Capture the damage for records or vendor claims
  • Completed work — Photograph finished displays, restocked shelves, or resolved issues

Photos attached to tasks are visible to everyone assigned to that task.
